General Description of Position 
Provides oversight to Managers and is responsible for assisting the Clerk of Court and Comptroller (Clerk) in achieving the objectives of he organization. Provides leadership, management and vision to ensure proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and appropriate staff are in place, resulting in financial strength and operating efficiency. Directs department-wide strategic planning, administers and implements directives and policy decisions of the Clerk. Reports directly to the Clerk of Court and follows the Clerks standard operating procedures and policies.

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday Friday 8AM 5PM: May be required to work hours outside the general schedule as necessary.

Annual Salary: $58,083.60 - $96,865.60, DOE
Required Qualifications :

  • Relevant Bachelors Degree Required

  • Must have at least 4 years of relevant work experience, including, but not limited to, a Clerks office, governmental entity, legal or similar environment

  • Tasks require public speaking and interaction

  • Tasks require visual perception and differentiation, as well as excellent oral and written communications ability using English language

  • Must have the ability to write complex articles and develop presentations for a wide range of audiences

  • Must have ability to compose original reports, training and other written materials, using proper language, punctuation, grammar and style

  • Detailed oriented and accuracy as consequences of mistakes can be moderately serious and can result in serious consequences

  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, while concentrating on repetitious or complex tasks

  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times of information related to work product

  • Considerable skill, adeptness, and speed in use of fingers, hands or limbs in performing tasks

  • Possess a valid drivers license for required travel

  • Business conducts a background investigation including a criminal record, driving record, prior employment reference checks and skills assessment
