Inside Sales Representative



Reports to: CEO



General Characteristics
• Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward associates, vendors
and customers at all times.
• Attention to detail and accuracy of work must be maintained
• Communicate, support and coordinate with colleagues as needed, recognizing and
maintaining strict confidentiality as appropriate for company business and all HR matters
• Communicating with customers, outside vendors and staff as necessary
to support assignment or other colleagues
• Accurately use of Microsoft Tools (Excel, Word, OneNote, Outlook & CRM software).
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
• Maintain appropriate records in electronic and paper form as required and appropriate
• Train and support any new members of the team


 


Salary: $45k-$50k, DOE

Required Qualifications :

Key Responsibilities:



• Customer Support
o Learn, maintain and improve entire customer experience for existing and potential
customers from start to finish
o Provide backup to customer service staff as necessary (vacation, illness, job
vacancy,…)



• New Business Development / Marketing Support
o Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers,
and following up on leads.
o Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information
o Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers and
vendors.
o Researching and qualifying new leads.
o Attend market events and trade shows (virtual and in-person) to develop core
business, expand into adjacent segments and identify developing market trends



• Business Analysis & Support
o Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual business analysis and reporting
▪ Sales and profit analysis vs. budget and previous year
▪ Support annual planning and quarterly forecasting initiatives
o Develop and maintain a sales pipeline reporting tool



• Any other activities/tasks necessary to support Business Development, Operations or
administration as requested by CEO or Operations Manager
